New users must activate their account within 7 days, or they will be unable to login to any of the Pearson VUE Testing System applications.

 

Follow these steps to activate your user account:

  1. Locate the Connect Account Created email that was sent to the email account specified in your user account and click the link to activate your account. Click to view the screenshot.Click to view the screenshot.

  2. Select a security question from the Question 1 drop-down list and enter the Answer to the security question. Click to view the screenshot.Click to view the screenshot.

  3. Select a security question from the Question 2 drop-down list and enter the Answer to the security question.

The answers to the security questions are not case sensitive, but if you forget your password, you must enter the correct answer to your questions to generate a new password.

  1. Click Next.

Strong passwords are required. A password must adhere to the following rules:

  1. 8 characters minimum length
  2. Must meet 3 of the following 4 requirements:
    1. At least one uppercase letter (from A to Z)
    2. At least one lowercase letter (from a to z)
    3. At least one number (from 0 to 9)
    4. At least one non-alpha character (ex., !, $, #, %, *)
  3. Cannot contain your username
  4. Must be updated every 60 days
  5. Cannot be repeated within a 366-day period
  1. Re-enter the password in the Confirm password field. The passwords must match.

  1. Enter your Username, Password, and your Site ID, and click Log in.
  2. If the two-step verification page appears, a new verification code is issued and emailed to the email address on file for your user profile. Click to view the screenshot.Click to view the screenshot.

To login to the Connect portal, you must provide your Username, Password, and Site ID, as well as a system generated Verification code. The new verification code is only valid for 24 hours. If you do not use the verification code to login to Connect within 24 hours, the code expires, and you must request a new code.

Every user must have a verification code for each browser on each workstation where the Connect portal is launched.

  1. Locate the Verification Code email that was sent to you. If you did not receive an email, click Request a new codeClick to view the screenshot.Click to view the screenshot.

  2. Copy the verification code.
  3. Go back to the Two-step verification page and Paste the Verification code in the field and click VerifyClick to view the screenshot.Click to view the screenshot.

  4. You are notified that you are setting your language preference. Click ContinueClick to view the screenshot.Click to view the screenshot.

  5. The Connect portal landing page is displayed and you see the Pearson VUE applications to which you have been given access in the navigation pane. Click an application name in the navigation pane to open the application.
